Marketing Your Fitness Coaching Services

0

As a fitness coach, you’re most likely finding better ways to help more clients. You focus on helping your clients achieve their fitness goals and make them happy. You don’t worry too much about the financial rewards because you know that when you do your job right, that will follow.

But right now, those things aren’t just happening. It could be because you aren’t marketing your fitness coaching services well. Read more as I show you some marketing strategies that you can use to expand your business.

If you aren’t getting any clients at all, it could be because you’re neglecting the most basic marketing strategy there is – spreading the word about what you do. Sure you’re a fitness coach, but don’t expect everyone to know about it until you tell them that you are.

Try to fit it into your conversations and send your business card, but always remembering not to be too pushy. That will put off your prospects. Once people know about what you do, chances are that a portion of them would be interested enough in working with you.

But talking to people one on one and handing out business cards individually can be time consuming. Good thing is that there are other marketing strategies you can employ. Send out promotional materials. It could be brochures, advertorials or advertisements but keep in mind that its goal is to help spread the word about what you do and entice people to train under you. So tell them what they will get from hiring you as their fitness coach.

Now why should they hire you as their fitness coach? There would be a number of reasons. But if you want a surefire way to entice people to train under you, you should establish yourself as a fitness expert before anything else. People love to be trained by experts. And since you’re giving them more value for their money as an expert, you get paid better too.

How do you position yourself as an expert? Go on speaking engagements for as often as you can. Write books, instructional videos or all the related stuff. These things further reinforce the fact that you know what you do and that you can really help people achieve their fitness goals. The more visible you become and the more helpful information you give out, then the more you establish yourself as an expert.

You can give free information away as well. You can soft sell and slowly convert people by posting helpful articles on your blog. The longer they stick to your blog, the more these people will trust you. And when they trust you, the more they will be willing to train under you. Logical, right?

Having speaking engagements, publishing books and blog posts all work together in establishing you as an expert. But keep in mind that the ultimate goal of these things is not to tell people how much you know about fitness but to make them trust you and believe that you can help them achieve their fitness goals. And by all means, deliver. An unhappy client may spell the end of your credibility and business.

Also, if you click on a link on my site to someone else's product, there's a good chance I'm makin' a profit off of it, probably even a steep one.
