Brilliant. 2nd. Most clients will give you a superficial reason "WHY" they want to train... but for anyone single, almost always its because they want companionship/sex. (They just won't admit it to a stranger off the bat!) 3rd. Sales is everything! We sell our client on what to eat, why they need to workout on their own, why they to sleep and rest, etc etc. Its not just about profits. Sales is like power or money. It is neutral, and can be used for good or bad. Luckily, we are in the "transform peoples lives with exercise" business. :-) Johnny Fitness So much good content here I don't know where to start.

Sales is sales and no matter the industry a true salesman knows how to modify the pitch to the product. Instead of sugarcoating everything to trainers be honest. You HAVE to sell. You will be salespeople. You are selling yourself, your program if it works, your confidence, your experience, and your determination/commitment to them that you will get them to achieve their goals.
