Bedros Keuilian, Fish Tacos and Over $89k in Personal Training in Less Than 45 Days

Bedros_and_me.JPGThe other day I was having lunch with my good buddy Bedros Keuilian. And after chowing down on some good fish tacos and breaking the waitresses balls we got into some pretty deep marketing topics.

Bedros is one of those guys like me who could talk about marketing for days on end. I can relate to Bedros because he came from some real humble beginnings to owning several successful fitness studios to making millions as a fitness marketer.

Bedros actually went from sleeping in his car and eating meals that consisted of tuna fish and diet coke mixed together to make the most disgusting "poor mans" protien shake I have ever heard of in my life, to just a few years later selling $89,705.00 of personal training sessions in just 43 days.

(This isn't an affiliate link and has nothing to do with why I wrote this post, but Bedros teaches his sales method here, you'll definitely want to check it out. And here's an interview I did with Bedros a few years ago about selling personal training)

When were eating out fish tacos Bedors told me about his "Apples to Eggs" strategy

You see, while most personal trainers sell sessions and pretty much have a "me too" business that's just like all their competitors, Bedros tells trainers to differentiate themselves and their service as much as possible.

So if they're all selling apples, you shouldn't even be selling another fruit (like oranges)… you should be selling eggs.

Something completely different.

So if all your competitors sell sessions, DON'T sell sessions….

You could sell a month of training bundled with 2 massages, a chiropractic adjustment and an eating program… whatever it is, as longs as it's different.

While they're selling apples, you sell eggs. While they sell features, you sell benefits. While they're selling personal training sessions, you sell (fill in the blank).

If you wanna get better at sales, check out Bedros's "How To Close 9 Out of 10 Clients" DVD, it's worth it's weight in gold, and it has a pretty damned low price point as well. Here's the link… and it's NOT an affiliate link: http://www.closeclients.com/

And if you haven't done so already, be sure to opt-in for my free Kick Back Life Fitness Marketing updates… I'll also send you a link to a secret video that shows how you can make a lot more money and work a lot less hours from using little known underground Internet marketing tactics.
