How to Get a Personal Training Website High In Google
This is a super-quick post I'm busting out…
It's about drug cartels and getting to the top of the search engines… especially Google.

The reason it's quick is:
1) Market Annihilator launches Tuesday ( Nov. 18th) 10am PST and I'm slammed busy with that at this moment
2) My neighborhood is on fire right now and we had to evacuate. I drove to a coffee shop a few miles down the road.
Got the lap top, got the cell phone, wife and kids are safe… ( can't find my cat Bodhi, but he's a trooper)
Ok, so if you want your fitness website or personal training website to rank high in Google..
First, make sure it's loaded with quality content. If Google see's people bounce right off your site, that isn't gonna help you, trust me.
And second, get TONS of links with variations of your main keyword phrases pointing back to your site. You see, at this point in time, Google is mostly an off-page search engine. Meaning, what other sites say about your site, is much more important than just about anything you can do ON your sites pages themselves.
Let's say you own a personal training business in Tijuana Mexico and you help Drug Cartels get into shape so they can outrun the Federales and dodge all the bullets flying at them from the other drug cartels.

Sure, you would want a page or two optimized for your main keyword phrases by having your terms appear naturally within the text of those pages, in the title tag of those pages and within the internal linking of your site.
But mainly you want to get as many sites ( especially trusted sites that are of a similar topic base) to link back to you with your main keyword terms.
I would go for these phrases:

I would also throw in some words like "find" and "best" and the state name and state name abbreviation, heck…. I'd even throw in the zip codes
And if you wanted, you could rinse, wash and repeat this process for other phrases like weight loss, boot camps and health clubs.
One last point, if drug cartels are your niche, you're probably making a killing… just make sure your workouts deliver… I hear those dudes can be nasty and make a big fuss out of even the smallest mistakes.

And if you haven't done so already, be sure to opt-in for my free Kick Back Life Fitness Marketing updates… I'll also send you a link to a secret video that shows how you can make a lot more money and work a lot less hours from using little known underground Internet marketing tactics.
Let me know what you think…

It doesn't get much more niche than personal training for Tijuana Drug Cartels - I like how you have a list of keywords that you try to dominate, and then wash, rinse and repeat w/ another list - Great stuff -
I guess there are some good thing after all about living in beautiful coastal Carlsbad, CA. Sorry to hear about the fire. Hey but you have Bedros to hold on to….
Yes,getting the total mix of key word phrases is certainly a great way to funnel in on your customers. I look forward to seeing what you have to offer on Tuesday.
I like the TJ scenario. Know it well. Have been doing Costco Corporate near the Caliente and the Adelita Bar for over 3 years now. Get picked up in a bullet proof Tahoe limo Q Tues and Thurs!!!!
I never thought about using the zip code as a key word, but that is something I use myself. Doh!
WOW man youre INSANE and I see why you got UP there whit your PT biz. thank you, Alfredo

Google has a pretty good free keyword tool you can use if you have a free Adwords account. I use the "export" function with those lists so that I can copy them to excel for some of my e-books. The keywords show some good stuff, like how many searches are performed for those particular words. By the way, GREAT BLOG, Chris. Just found it and can't wait to meet you at Fitness Business Summit 09.
heck you can use the yahoo adwords too for free!!!!! thanks man!
