How To Be A Boot Camp Dominator - Part 2

Guest Post by Steve Hochman

For Six-Figure Boot Camp Income And A
"Do What I Want, When I Want" Lifestyle…

5-Part Mini Series to boot camp domination
(Part 2) Blasting Your Boot Camps From GOOD To GREAT!

Hey what's up everyone, Steve Hochman here with (part 2) of the How To Be A Boot Camp Dominator mini series.

Last week I broke down step-by-step how to blow your boot camp up to six-figures in 3 months using my "Human Billboard Marketing Method"

Now this week in (part 2) I'm gonna tell you one technique I use for making my boot camps bad ass!

But first, let me tell you what happened this weekend…

So, the Hochman family and the McCombs family went to Jump'n Jammin, a place that has all kinds of bouncy houses and little mazes for our kids to play in (I played with the kids in the little mazes but McCombs is too big, so he hung out with the wives).

When I took a break from shooting other parents with the foam ball air guns, me and McCombs started talking about why MY boot camps are huge and OTHER boot camps may be stuck in a rut.

Aside from using some sick ninja marketing moves… here are the main reasons why some boot camps are just average and what you can do about it RIGHT NOW!

Ok… here's what makes a boot camp average…

  • No rapport building techniques
  • Not connecting with deep.psychological desires.
  • No segmenting
  • Moments of low energy
  • No Purpose building techniques
  • Not enough appreciation
  • Just a typical boot camp

But here's the good news…

All this can be overcome by doing what I call "Themeing" your workouts and using my A.P.E Shit principals.

I explain it all in this video…

Enjoy -

I can't wait to hear all about the respect, compliments and recognitions you get from your boot camp members by using my "Theme Technique" and "A.P.E Shit principles"

(Helpful tip)

Take 5 minutes RIGHT NOW to write out your themes for each workout next week. (Have fun with them)

It wont be long before your boot camps BLOW UP and becomes the most talked about workout in your city, without sacrificing your friends, family and free time.

Stay tuned for (Part 3)

Once again, I used the wrong email. That Val's face.. but I'm sure she'd say the same thing

Awesome shit Steve

Yavor Marichkov @ 11:53 pm

Amen Steve!

We had a similar discussion on the super-trainer forum regarding how a trainer should present himself - i.e. behavior, clothes, appreciation, style, grooming etc.

It's not all about the substance (methods, tools, knowledge, experience) but also about STYLE!

Training should be a a high-end experience. Same goes for bootcamps. It should be an adventure!

Awesome man!

Btw, Steve - a question for you:

Were you always like this or did you discover that you needed to change and improve your charisma and your expressiveness and passion?

Georgette Pann @ 5:24 am

Agree 100%…I always teach that bootcamp trainers have to think on their feet ,infuse the fun factor into camps..you cannot do either without enthusiasm and high energy.
Also theme workouts are great idea to throw into your camps and part of what we teach in Sure Victory/Sure Results Bootcamps!

Gordon @ 6:17 am

Great video!! Steve you ARE the shit. I enjoy everything you put out!
Thanks

Nii @ 6:45 am

Hey Steve you are right on man no bullshit you should have an audio
CD or MP3 so we can download your swagger.

You may be laughing but I am dead ass serious. You have more energy than Macho Man Randy Savage. You can put a crackhead to sleep.

Let me know if you can rip the sound off this and make it a downloadable track.

peace man

Give a shout if you are ever in the NYC area

Dang man I was gunna say.. WHOA Dude… What have you been on in LA? Your almost as Hot as Valerie Waters!!…

HAHA

Steve "Mighty Jatz" Hochman… maaaate.. awesome video and great critique on yours too. So true that you are really performing when in a group environment like a bootcamp… aint no room for a slouch with no mouth or the personality of a wet mop… gotta be bounding higher than Skippy and the energy of a Frog on a Hot Tin Roof…

Anyone dragging the Jatz along the gravel will be suffering in more ways than one… eventually

Chris… congrats on being the No. 1 Fitness Marketing Site… is that what I read? … great stuff

Cheers fellas

Steve!

These techniques have been working freakin' great in my personal training, too!

Just used your six word close. Then walked off to get a drink. Came back and she handed me the human billboard contract you gave me to use.

"I can't believe the energy in here!" is what all the newbies have been saying.

That just blog video just drove a foot right up my ass. I'm extremely hyped up on sharing this info with my trainers and giving the same energy to my boot camp members.

Thank you so much Steve, I really appreciate the help.

Michael LoColle @ 10:31 am

Now that's energy that every trainer should have for their clients. Awesome stuff. I'm ready to go for my boot camp but it's not until tomorrow night. I will make it a point to watch it before I go and teach another camp.

Rich @ 10:43 am

Steve man you are Awesome! I start my boot camp on April 14th can't wait to try it your way! Let you know how it gos

Steve was also my mentor when I worked out at Next Level Fitness- The Greatest Gym on earth.

His motivation and leadership changed my life.

He had so many clients he was just throwing them at me!

It was like an avalanche!

One day I approached him and asked him how can I make more money and the first thing that he asked me was, "What are you doing to increase your energy."

There was no marketing or sales jargon.

He simply told me I had to speed up my energy with positive thinking, exercise, and his patented black and green tea concoction.

2 black teas
2 green teas
1 half gallon of water
Drink it all through the morning.
It might have been a placebo, I don't know.

But what I do know is:

I followed everything he said and went from $3000 a month to a consistent $10 to $12,000 a month in less than 45 days.

Everything he is saying is legit and it works.

I moved out to a brand new city and built up a following using the A.P.E. shit principles as well as the Law of Reciprocity which I learned from Steve.

The pizza delivery story is true. If you don't know what it is go on to his website and read about it.

Steve's principles can be summed up in those three letters.

Appreciation, Passion, and Enthusiasm.

Thanks Steve!

And thank you Chris for keeping the old school "NLF Family" together through your websites!

Great question Yavor,
The first 23 years of my life I was totally confused about how to inspire and build rapport with people. I had a real hard time making friends too.

It was SO FRUSTRATING!

In 1998, my first mentor gave me the most earth shattering book I ever read by Dale Carnegie called How To Win Friends And Influence People (Available on audio too, my favorite) This book totally changed my life, and if it wasn't for that book and my mentor, I never would have had the business, and personal success that I've enjoyed.

Steve

Nii,
Thanks man, seriously… Thanks! That means a lot to me…
I am having my web dude work on making all my interviews and videos down loadable…

Thanks for the feedback and all the great comments
Steve

Alexander Morentin @ 11:34 am

Great stuff.
Have to remember to make the clients feel appreciated.
Also, giving them a purpose for each workout is great.
Sometimes people can lose sight of why they are coming to class.
It's up to me to keep them motivated. That's why they're paying me. Right?

Thanks for the great info. :-)

Sarah Rippel @ 3:04 pm

HELL YES!
Who wants a typical lame-ass robot trainer with the personality of a brick?!
People hire trainers and join bootcamps b/c they want RESULTS, NOT because they want to work out…well, most of the time, lol :) The desire for results is an emotion-based thing. As professionals, we must feed that desire by bringing our OWN emotion to the table!

Great stuff! Gonna check out your site, Steve!

Shay Whited @ 8:15 pm

YES! This shit really works too. I have only been doing boot camp for a few weeks, but the clients TELL me I get them going. They get all crazy into it and they get friggen motivated like there's no tomorrow. Great stuff Steve. Thanks for sharing your stuff with us.

Nii @ 6:40 am

No problem Steve.

I just went to this evening event and I am always a little out there but I channeled my "inner Hochman" I met some great contacts and even went on a limb and gave away 8 1 month FREE boot camp trial to a few future brides and business owners. The tickets for the event were only $40 so we will see where it goes from there.

peace,

Nii

Steve Long @ 7:31 am

Awesome! Some of the best advice I've picked up on from watching you is to "pretend you are on tv". It really helps to keep that in the back of my mind when I'm feeling a little stale. Nice post. Thanks.

Bobby @ 9:47 am

awesome video once again

Doug Seamans @ 11:13 am

Awesome post Steve!

Using this principle should allow you to not only get tons of referral clients and keep the ones you already have for months but it also should allow you to charge more than your competition because you know you have a product that is far superior to their's. The best part is, just like you said, it didn't cost you a dime.

I feel I was already on the right track and doing well but info, ideas and principles like this pushes me more and in the right direction.

Thanks Steve!

Awesome Steve love this stuff.

I have a question, I have been doing it the wrong way. How should I transition into the high energy without scaring the APE shit out of my people?

p.s. That book by Carnegie just got requested at the library. Moved to top of reading list (though I got audio one).
