Simple Phrases That Can DRAMATICALLY Increase Profits in Your Fitness Business
Hey there, hope you're having a kick ass day
Just got back with Bedros from Mike Koenigs "Paid for Life" event where we were getting footage for our documentary about internet marketing… at the event Mike raised over 300k for his wife Vivian's charity Just Like My Child … a charity which alleviates the suffering of women, children and families in rural Uganda.
Lot's of great speakers at the event… Eben Pagan, John Assaraf, John Carlton, Russell Brunson… just to name a few… these speakers gave of their energy and time all to help a good cause, donating the proceeds of their "back of the room" sales all to charity… it say's a lot about internet marketing community.
Mike is way cool… he brought us up and screened an extremely early version of our trailer to the audience and they ate it up… which rocked… felt great to hear all the applauds.
Alright check it out… this post is gonna be short and sweet and SIMPLE
Basically, here's a few phrases that can DRAMATICALLY increase your income…
To yourself or someone you're trying to figure something out with - "What's the solution to this?"
To yourself - "How can I better serve my customers?"
To yourself when figuring out how to something or when wanting to get from point A to point B yet you're not exactly sure how yet- "How can I ____________?"
To a client before they workout - "Hey great to see ya _______, glad you're here"
To a client after the workout - "Hey thanks for coming in _________, really appreciate you taking time out of your day to make your health and fitness a priority in your life… awesome job today by the way?"
To a prospective client during the sign up process - "We offer program A which is _______, program B which is _____________, and program C which is __________ …. which one works best for you?" ( Obviously you should use better names besides just programs A, B and C)
To get the client to choose an option you want, add in this phrase - "Option B is our most popular by the way because __________"
To start a new relationship off - "How can I help you with ____________?"
And if you need to give someone a little constructive criticism or address an issue with them… stick to the ole' Dale Carnegie formula -
- Complement
- Address the issue
- Complement again
Hope these help… and have an awesome day
( Oh yeah, be sure to leave a quick comment before you go)

HEY CHRIS, THANKS FOR THE TIPS! YOU KNOW, JUST LIKE "HOW TO WIN FRIENDS AND INFLUENCE PEOPLE", A LOT OF THIS STUFF IS REALLY OBVIOUS, BUT WE OFTEN FORGET THE SIMPLEST THINGS; COMPLEMENTING, APPRECIATION, ENTHUSIASIM, EYE CONTACT, A SMILE. IT GOES A LONG WAY. THANK YOU FOR BEING A LEADER IN THE RIGHT DIRECTION. HELPS ME OUT EVERYDAY!

Thanks for the words of wisdom Chris!
from KBL member - Chris whats up brotha!
question will be on bottom
- I am about to get a sales copy site with Shingo. Already have a blog by him (thanks for connecting me with him - he is great)
but
I am getting some good local traffic with my blog and i did start to blog before my sales copy site (o well)
I understand and have read your content (as a manifesto member as well) about how to prioritize your web traffic and other biz.
should I do the same web optimizing/marketing stuff with my BLOG as I should do with my soon to be sales site? (meaning should i pay for my blog to be found in local yahoo, squiido, and google ADwords etc)in ADDITION TO MY SALES COPY SITE?
Hey Chris,
Glad to hear things are going well with Add To Cart.
Thanks for the phrases.
It's amazing how the little things can make such a huge difference in your business.
Peace.
great short words Chris.
Coming from Canberra, Australia to the Fitness Summit, can't wait to get the opportunity to meet you in person and hang out for a few days..

Great Stuff Chris. I will work on using all of the phrases.
Hey thanks for all the cool comments guys
Mitchell, with the blog I'd focus mostly just on Organic and JV traffic
Get it listed in the big directories so it'll do better in Google, but don't worry about doing PPC for it, keep that for the sales page
Chris, I love ya and miss ya dude….in a manly way of course.
Hells yea to this post.
I believe in running my biz like it's Opening Day!
High Energy at all times!!!
Lots of compliments, BUT, when I lay down the law and drop mutiple "F Bombs" - it's all in "tough love"
I will see you soon bruddah, keep kickin ass w/this Blog and everything else, and of course, numero uno….your health AND family!
Now SHUT UP!!!!!!!!!!

I really tried NOT to comment. But I just couldn't resist.

DYNAMIC POST CHRIS!!
Thanks for doing what you do for the industry!
I think I'm gonna name my son after you, Bedros, or Steve!
I'll keep ya posted on that! LOL
got it Chris thanks -do the organic stuff, google local, and get listed in big directories for my blog to help with traffic
but save the PPC Stuff for the sales copy site (and do all the other stuff for it to obviously)
thanks again and can't wait for the movie - raising that money may be one of the coolest things you ever do when you are looking back sittin in your rockin chair

Awesome reminders.
Wanna hear something cool?
I'm going to school to become a professional fitness trainer. Just this past week we studied Communications in Sport & Exercise Psych. At the end of the chapter was this 3 step method for constructive criticism called the Sandwich Method.. yep, you guessed it the same as the Dale Carnegie you mentioned!
AND this week I just started reading How to Win Friends…
AND then I read this!
Something I never heard before in my life and 3 references to it in 1 week– how wild is that?
