The Power of Making Fast Decisions

19

Two weeks ago I sat with Brad Fallon, CEO of Stompernet, in Southern California while he conceived of the new Stompernet Launch ( Stompernet still holds the record for the biggest launch in internet marketing history… 18 million in billable payments in less than 24 hours)

What amazes me about Brad is how fast he makes decisions.

Here it is 2 weeks later and I'm out at his home in Atlanta Georgia while the launch goes live… check out this video I made about about the power of making fast decisions… and leave a comment below letting me know your thoughts on this…

Hey I loved the video…and i love what you have to say and it's helped me ALOT!!! Now i just need the money and the know how to do half of what you say…any ideas on that?

Jason Morgan @ 11:41 am #

This holds true in business decisions and in what our clients face. If you leverage this, you can guide your clients to making the decision that you want them to make in choosing you as their trainer. Your business will also increase once you realize that 7 of 10 decisions may fail but the other 3 are gonna hit HUGE!

Most people will listen to this video and say "I know that already" but its probably one of the most if not THE MOST profound thing someone can learn and do is taking serious action and doing it fast. This is something that I haven't been very good at in my business over the years but am getting better and better everyday. The funny thing is in other areas of my life I've very good at making decisions and taking action.

Thanks for sharing Chris as this tip is a GOLD MINE!…of course if acted on.

Just started making more massive action decisions, and it's 8 to 1200 times better than sitting on my butt thinking about what could be.

Awesome bro… Very good for me to hear this… Again!

I remember reading all the Donald Trump books and he makes fast decisions too…

One thing that really helped me was when I learned to make my To Do List out of Actionable items.. Before my list of things to do was generic like; "Make a product to sell, or Find a way to get 4 clients this week"… and a bunch of other Non-actionable sh$t. So when i thought about it, my brain says "WHAT's NEXT?" and I go into an procrastinating OCD loop…

Now I make sure every action is Actionable "Google fitness trends, Create survey on Monkey, etc." and then get things done!

And I needed a kick today.. thanks…

You said it! It does pay of more times than sitting and thinking about it for a few days then taking action…

Welcome to ATown Chris. That was true in so many ways. Just get stuff done and act fast before someone else beats you to the punch. Great post.

Hey Chris, you're looking good man – you're definitely leaning out as far as I could see.

And another great post, I just made the decision to fully stop training, outsourcing my main bootcamp so I can focus full-time on marketing.

Keep these posts coming!

This is so true in business, life and athletics.

If I had a dollar for everytime I got an email from a guy who can't decide between program A, B, and X…to the point where he's not lifting at all!…well, then I could retire and watch the 3 Stooges all day.

I tell my clients and players this all the time…just do something!

Stop worring about whether you should do Box Back Squats or Box Front Squats and just do some f'n Squats already.

On the business side, I went out on my own knowing NOTHING about business but I just started doing it and learned as I went. Did I make mistakes, yea, but I've learned more by doing so.

andrew hamill @ 1:51 pm #

i needed that post chris… thanks a million. i was just listening to "awaken the giant within" by tony robbins and that is exactly what he said to do.
He said "we stink at making decisions because our decision making muscles are flabby, we need to give them a good workout each day" so start flexing some decisions today and you will get better at it.

Shane @ 2:04 pm #

I have a bit of a tough time with making decisions… and most of the time it's when there's lots of money at stake. For example… i've got four proposals on the table for redoing my blog and my bootcamp website which is http://www.your-beach-body-boot-camp.com and the proposals vary between $5K-$18K… and then there's Chris's coaching which is $4K… but then Chris would suggest I use the fitnesswebsiteformula guys to do my site.. and the full site product is $4K and I have four sites I need done.

So… yes, I especially have trouble with decisions when this kind of money is at stake.

Anyone care to comment on that?

Thanks.
Shane

Hi Shane,

Here's what I would do

Join Chris's coaching, I did and can tell you it's one of the best decisions I ever made in my business. Then, take action on what you learn and do what he says. If you do this, you'll be making a good amount of extra money fairly quickly. Then, invest in your most important site with the extra money you're making because of the coaching. Once it's up and if you're happy with it, if you're doing the things Chris tells you to do in his coaching, you should be able to afford the rest of the sites no problem.

Good luck Shane!!!

Thanks for this reminder. Sometimes we can all be bogged down because of paralysis by analysis. Of course, fear is the major reason people procrastinate on making decisions. Cheers!

Yo Chris!

Thanks for the kick in the ass!

Hey one thing to say…How do I get that house? Good post!

Brian Carpenter @ 10:03 am #

I have been following, reading, and listening to you guys for the past year or so and have gained a lot of valuable information. However, being from a very small, very unhealthy (good thing but they don't believe it is important – bad thing) town in Indiana, it has been hard for me to get to where I want to be (I am literally broke) as I started my business back in April. With this said, this video did open up my eyes to something and that is, I tend to do the thinking and worrying and therefore not getting much done because I want it 'perfect' and I feel I have no room to fail. This won't bring in the millions for me but I am taking Chris M's message about
just doing things without worrying and correct them as I go.

Thanks for all the information you have supplied to me. I really hope I can afford to get down to the fitness summit (at least future ones)

Chris you are looking leaner bro! You can see it in your face. Great post. All of life is making quick decisions to get to your goals and modifying on the way. 100% agreed.

Callie Durbrow @ 11:08 am #

This is a great reminder that working hard and not waiting around is the best thing you can do. I remember as an athlete growing up our coaches always told us that there is someone out there working harder than you, no matter what you do. It's great motivation to always try to be the one working the hardest!

Hey Chris! Wow! The dream is spoken through the mouths of the believers. You have simplified the fear of the complicated. You motivate the weak and nourish the strong…… which in turn equals success! Dominate the opportunity and sweeten the time is the goal of the over achiever and thats a message to all of you unbelievers. Chris….you talk as you walk. Thats applying conversation and demonstration at the same time. That spells victory!!!!! Keep feeding us Chris!!!!
