Although I'm not a fitness trainer, I like the idea of having testimonials. In fact your post just now has given me the idea to even have a few testimonials on my About Page in future when my site is a bit more established. Cheers!

I think having a salesvideo can make SO much difference (mine is http://tinyurl.com/m2kbgo). I read somewhere that your marketing should cater to the laziest internet surfers in the WORLD. People who won't even bother reading your awesome story unless it is served to them in a video on autoplay.

Btw I was just thinking today about how the Market Annihilator subject on headlines probably had the most impact on my marketing so far. Nothing happens till the sale is made…..and REALLY nothing happens if your ad/site doesn't get READ.

Great advice that all of us should know in order to have more success

Hey Chris
Thanks for your video. I had quite a few before and after pictures on both my personal training and boot camp websites and have certainly helped me in my business. I should probably start making some videos on how I train people as suggested by you.

Nikki Layton @ 5:57 am

The before and after pictures are always the hard one! how do you go about convincing a client to let you take a picture of them when they don't really like how they look?
Love to hear how you do it.

Chris Meredith @ 8:31 am

Great post Chris! Clear, concise and strait to the point. It';s gotta be the easiest to understand post I've ever seen on this subject. Thnx a bunch!
Make it a great day!

Nikki, just make it a part of doing business with you… that you take before and afters of all clients, that's just how it's done… if put properly only like 5% with have a real issue with it, no prob, cuz now you're gettin' em' from 95% of your clients

Allan N @ 8:55 am

Thanks Chris for the post!!

I'm actually working on a sales video for a new sales page that I'm going to lauch but I don't know the first thing about editing and making it look coolio….

…anyone got any suggestions on how to get one all jazzed up & ready to be put online?

A

Chris McCombs @ 9:25 am

Hey Allan, hire someone to do it, that's what I do… the video is made ( or broken) in the editing process

Jim O'Connor @ 1:21 pm

How right you are, Chris! The bottom line is documentation beats conversions. The more proof you provide in your copy, the better it will convert.

Remember, when you are writing copy, think about directing it towards the person who is ultra skeptical, and doesn't believe a thing anyone says. It is your job to grab his/her attention, and light a fire underneath their ass to get them to take action, right now. A headline, story, social proof, and a great call to action can light that fire.

Matty Holmes @ 3:17 pm

Killer bro! Thanks for the advice and I am working on more and more before and after pictures like you told me when we had lunch.

You are back in the gym training right? You look like you are building up on those traps ;)

Jaison @ 3:20 pm

Awesome video! No fluff, just the basics. Now I just have to take action and do it.

Thanks Chris.

Randy Woody @ 7:33 pm

Chris, thank you. Great info and laid out simple. Hey looks like you are leaning down–diet going good?

Hi Chris-
Totally useful info. It is so important to get video testimonials and pics. People are visual and they need to see how beneficial your services are:)

* Results are not typical. Advertised results are only typical of people who worked their tails off and followed every one of the fitness marketing strategies and personal training tips that I outline on my site to really explode their fitness business. Also, if you click on a link on my site to someone else's product, there's a good chance I'm makin' a profit off of it, probably even a steep one.
