If you want to get your business pumping, you definitely need an assistant. Pay them or barter, just make sure they do what you struggle with. I have a part time assistant and it is brilliant.

Quick story:

I run my programs out of a gym, the owner is kind of a dick and lets his pride get in the way of his success. I recently started training a girl in exchange for personal assistant duties because she couldn't afford my class. She only does a couple hours of work for me a week but it's worth it to me because I have her do things I HATE doing, like entering customer info into the email contact list. Get this, the owner of the gym was pissed at me! He said my operation wasn't big enough to warrant an assistant. True, but I have more time and she gets to train and I don't have to sit at the computer entering client's info. People like that will never move up and never grow.

Great info.

VA is huge.

I have implemented a lot of the stuff that Zach Hunt has talked on the blog.

A bunch of the stuff that Chris M talked about at Fitness Info Summit, I am doing it once and training a VA to do it over and over again. It is very cool and paying off fast.
