This looks awesome! Well shot, well setup and good music to drive the right emotion, which should be a mix of awe, wonder and excitement. Sorry, I studied film classes in school and love to create my own, so I just love looking through the lense of the director. This makes me want to see and learn more and that is the aim of a great trailer. Let us know when it comes out.

to Valerie - it's interesting…
about 50% of most internet marketing lists is female, yet if you look at the successful people - or at least those in the public eye - then it's more like 2% female

As far as the group that these guys interviewed (aka "The Internet Marketers" — minus maybe Gary V and a couple others) — it's kind of an accidental 'young boys club' - but truly, I don't see anyone literally 'shutting out women'. The opportunity is there for them as well.

On the other hand, there's a HUGE NUMBER of women that are blogging, and crankin' in social media, and creating social media marketing companies and the like. My wife recently entered into that world (more "The Bloggers" world - which is quickly become "The Social Media Marketers" world as well.)

Anyway, I think it's really just that this particular group of outward 'guru marketers' ends up being more male-heavy. I think of myself as being in the group of "Internet Marketers" myself - I know most of the guys, go to a lot of the events, and it's kind of a strange place to see so many female attendees and so few female speakers. I'm guessing we men probably don't know how to 'teach' or perhaps 'sell' to women as well. Not sure.

You can personally decide to see it two ways though:
1) Gee, I'm a woman and there must not be any opportunity for me in IM
2) Wow, 50% females and only 2% are on stage speaking - WHAT A HUGE OPPORTUNITY for me as a woman to get in there and help other women succeed as well.

As a female in IM, I know that it's male dominated. There is a male feel to the online marketing approaches overall, and clearly that works (sells). It's interesting that many top male marketers sell products in certain niches using female pen names because they know that helps sales. Female impersonation, basically!

As more women explore IM things may change - we'll see more women up on stage, etc - but I think that there are differences between men and women and how they approach things, so a lot will have to shift to make it, for lack of a better word, equal. That said, I have never felt discouraged or like I'm being kept back in IM because it's mostly men in the limelight.

I'm learning IM from men, primarily, and am totally fine with that. I'm careful about who I follow, so to speak, so I don't go near anyone who seems to be condescending towards women in IM.

Love it and can't wait to be one of those peeps in the video! Freedom and the ideal lifestyle

The Male dominated group of "Outward Guru Marketers"has been obvious…
It is also obvious in the products we see being launched. The campaigns, titles of the products and even the "quips" and "lingo" used, seem to reflect a real "male dominance" to them.

I mean, really now… "DOMINATE" "CRUSH IT" "SUPER NINJA MOVES" (with photos of some really sharp and wicked looking thing..)…………….. all this Testosterone Marketing leaves one to think that this MUST be a male dominated arena.

I just wonder how the 'IM world would react to other,maybe more feminine tactics?
Do we really have to market as "Dominators and Crushers?"

Is there room for something more neutral..yet just as strong?

I strongly believe that the IM Market is really missing out….by not providing a broader appeal to more people..and needs to stop seeing everyone as a future "World Stomping, Dominating, Crushing Ninja Guru, that smashes and stomps it way to Internet Dominance." That sounds like some wierd video game kids play….?

Is this really the mentality?

These have been my observations of late, collected from many various websites,blogs,campaigns…etc. (Not trying in any way to discredit your work here.)
So… just some food for fodder…consider this an honest view from 'outthere'!

I'm sorry your so upset by the male dominated internet marketing world- The tactics crushing it, dominance- etc. ARE meant for men!

Men are truly motivated by the driving the fighting instinct to 'beat' the competition and crush the enemy.

It's not hard to understand why it canNOT be a neutral marketing campaign because watered down wussy words do NOT motivate or move the men OR the women- as a strong women if marketing were not man warrior words I myself would not be motivated and the guys certainly wouldn't either- it just doesn't work that way, I'm tired of the dove commercial marketing that has it's place but not in the internet marking scene.

Why do you think boys play games for days! of their lives to beat the game, kill the bad guys, and get the most points coins or money, the feeling of accomplishment and winning is ingrained in men since the beginning of fighting the beasts to bring home the meat.

Sorry it's offensive women aren't there teaching other women how to 'Crush it' They just haven't gotten to that level of success yet.

You cannot market and please everyone- someone will be upset, and some will love it, but love it or hate it- that's how the money is made.

You have to decide what YOU want, not what the world needs for women.
Are you going to help people? Be Mother Teresa, or are you going to make money- Be Donald Trump. Luckily people like Oprah and most internet marketers that I have seen make it big are doing both. But they did by being motivated by awesome, killer, exciting words.

I encourage you to make it! Make the money and help tons of people, but don't demand men make it easier or more Rosey for you to do it- Just do it
