11 Reasons To Go To Fitness Business Summit 2010

Hey there, hope you’re doing awesome…

As you probably know Bedros Keuilian’s Fitness Business Summit 2010 is just around the corner.

( You can learn more about The Summit by clicking here by the way )

More successful fitness entrepreneurs and trainers attend The Summit each year than any other event in our industry’s history.

It’s fun, loaded with the most up to date cutting-edge strategies to help you build your fitness business, and it’s hands down the #1 event in the world where you can network with other business minded fitness entrepreneurs… almost all the top guys are there.

In fact, if you make it to just one event this year, this is the one… trainers will flying in from all over the globe just to be there… and for good reason…

Trainers who go to The Fitness Business Summit and apply just a portion of what they learn become more and more successful every year. ( There are countless success stories and case studies of trainers who’ve gone to past Fitness Businesses Summit’s and ended up growing their training businesses to high a six-figures and many times seven-figures over the course of the next 12 months.)

Now the opposite is true as well, trainers who DON’T go to The Fitness Business Summit will earn pretty much the same income year after year, and when the economy is bad, usually so is their business… they just don’t have the skills and strategies to succeed.

So for success minded fitness entrepreneurs like yourself, going to to The Summit is a no-brainer… no matter how far you have to travel… if you want to succeed in your fitness business, go.

Just in case you have any questions… here’s eleven reasons why you don’t wanna miss Bedros Keuilian’ Fitness Business Summit this year…

How to Duplicate Yourself in Your Fitness Training Business

A Fitness Business Guest Post by Dan Go

What is up my friends!  I hope you are having an amazing time growing your business.

I literally came up with this idea when I saw this commercial:  Jabbawockeez for Pepsi Smash

It just freaking dawned on me that these guys have built a business that was born out of their MTV’s America’s Best Dance Crew championship and they have evolved that into an actual entertainment business…. that can be duplicated and self sustainable without ever having to do another break dancing move ever again.

I remember I came down to Vegas one time for a bachelor party (for their amazing shows and family entertainment of course) and I was talking to one of my club promoter friends and she told me that the Jabbawockeez were charging XS nightclub (at the Wynn) $20,000 to do a 5 minute dance appearance.

20 G’s for a 5 minute performance… WOW!!!

How I Make Money

Hey there, I hope you’re doing great… first off, I want to thank you for being a reader of my blog… without my readers this blog wouldn’t exist… or if it did, the only person reading it would be my mom (=

I get people all the time asking me what I do for a living, and my typical answer is usually close to one or more of these…

“As little as possible”

“I work at home”

“I own a fitness training business”

“I’m an information marketer”

“I’m a blogger”

“I’m an internet marketer”

“I own websites”

“I help fitness trainers make more money and work less hours”

“All the above”

… and those are all truthful… but I guess it doesn’t explain much… I’ll try to use this post to do a better job.

Today I own a few businesses in the fitness industry that generate just under seven figures for me… and fortunately I don’t have to spend too much time working, which is cool cuz’ lately I’ve been really focused on spending time with my family ( Sarah and myself our expecting our third child right now BTW) … and I’ve also been spending a lot of time focused on lifting and on my spiritual path.

Work is important, but for me it needs to be part of my balanced life… I don’t want to spend my day just putting in my 8 hours like somehow the majority of the world agreed to do.

I never liked spending my day at a typical day job… it seemed I was…

Things I Learned From Bedros Keuilian

Hey there, hope you’re doing awesome… here’s a list things I either learned from my good friend Bedros Keuilian… or through watching how he lived this stuff, it took my understanding to a deeper level…

Bedros is BY FAR one of the top marketers in the world, ESPECIALLY in the world of fitness

( BTW, I’d love to hear in the comment section below some of the things you’ve learned from Bedros… or some of the ways he’s helped you build your fitness business )

1. Spend your time doing only the 5% of tasks that are most important to getting you to where you want to go

2. When getting a tattoo, make sure you get one that closely resembles the signature tattoo of one of the highest ranking and most violent prison gangs in the country

Switching Your Clients From Private Training to Group Training

By now most trainers know that the real way to get ahead in the industry is to do either group training or boot camps… since there’s just not a lot of money in one-on-one private personal training, unless of course 80 hour work weeks are something you’re into.

Well, recently I’ve had a lot of questions from trainers about how they can transition their current clients from private to group training… here’s a few tips…

1. Make your group training about 20%-25% less than your private training prices, so if you normally charge $60 for private sessions, charge an average of $45-$49 for your group workouts ( this is PER PERSON for groups of 4-6 people, for boot camps make your prices around 30%-50% of your private session prices)

2. Position group training as the “best” kind of training around, you can touch on points like how much more fun the workouts are, the camaraderie of the groups, how the energy lifts everyone up, the competitiveness which makes it hard to slack off, how they’ll have more flexibility in their scheduling and how they’ll be able to train with their friends if they want to.

NEVER position it as budget training, even though it does save them money, position it as the best way to get into shape. ( You need to believe this as well, not just them)

3. Don’t ASK your clients to do it, just tell them this is how you’re going to be doing it now… remember, YOU are the authority here, and just like a doctor PRESCRIBES a solution, you too PRESCRIBE the solution… if you lose 5% of your client base, no biggie, you’ll end up making WAY more in the long run WHILE working fewer hours.

( You can always outsource some of that 5% to another trainer if you want)

4. Whatever you need to do to make it happen, make your group workouts super fun, so people will enjoy them much more than your private sessions.

5. Remember, YOU need to believe in your group workouts, cuz if you don’t they won’t either… NEVER apologize for training groups, always be in the “vibe” of this is the best way to get into shape.

6. Get the Group Training Exploder System to help build your entire six-figure group training business, you can get it here:  http://www.GroupTrainingExploder.com

- Every product launch
- Every affiliate promotion
- And every traffic building strategy we could think of

It was the most powerful meeting we’ve ever had.

And I also gave out a few tips that I can pass along to bootcamp owners…they are plain and simple, yet powerfully effective.

37 No-Cost and Low-Cost Ways To Make More Money in Your Fitness Business

A Fitness Business Marketing Post by Chris McCombs

Hey there… hope you’re doin great… kickin ass… gettin’ people into shape… and finding some time to chill here and there… I LOVE chillin’… in fact, one of my favorite ways to chill is to kick back on the couch, watch some TV and write a blog post ( like I’m doing right now) … tonight it’s Sons of Anarchy… love that damn show… the Sopranos on Harley’s

In this post I wanna talk about some of my favorite no-cost and low-cost ways to make more money in your fitness training business… now keep in mind, before delving into these ideas I want to make it clear that I don’t know of one successful business owner… be it in fitness or otherwise.. who doesn’t invest in their business on a regular basis.

If you’re not willing to put something in, you probably won’t get much out…  but I understand some new trainers don’t have much ( if any ) money to invest at first… I know I didn’t… so at first my investments were minimal and I used a lot of these low-cost/no-cost techniques… and then after the money started rolling in I was able to re-invest more and more into my business… as long as the ROI is there… invstmenting money into your business is a no-brainer… but sometimes it’s nice to make money without spending any

So here ya go…

Winners of the Market Annihilator 2.0 Contest and a Simple Way To Increase Profits in Your Fitness Training Business

Hey, it’s Chris here, hope your boot camp or personal training business is KILLING IT right now… I got lot’s of great stuff in this blog post for ya today… like…

1. I’m announcing the winners of the Market Annihilator 2.0 Contest

2. A short video that can literally double your fitness profits if you just put it into action… and it hardly takes any time at all

3. Lot’s of other cool stuff

Ya know…. I LOVE this industry we’re in

I took my bike into the Harley store yesterday to get some new ape hangers put on it ( those are my new apes on the right when I was pulling up at home from the Harley shop, my wife has no idea why I want bars that big, and when I tell her it’s “cuz’ it’s friggin’ BAD ASS” she just looks at me like I have no idea what the hell I’m talking about)

Well it turns out the kid Anthony who sold me my bike a while back is now a personal trainer building his own little part time business, and he’s TOTALLY passionate about helping other people… he still works at Harley and he’s training people on the weekends.

And then I got an email from a dude named Larry Lonis, a good friend of mine from like 10 years ago… but haven’t heard from him since… Larry and me were full time bouncers together… we used to throw drunks outta bars together back in Lubbock Texas ( Larry’s a BIG dude, 6’8″ and 280 lean… plus he’s got more black belts than I can count and competes at a professional level in martial arts all over the world)...

When me and Larry decided someone had to go from the bar… they WENT… we got into quite a few scraps together and had a helluva lot of fun… not a person in the world I’d rather have on my side then Larry when the shiznit went down…. I’ve seen Larry handle four dudes better than most guys handle one.

Here’s Larry by the way… he always has that “Whadda you looking at?” expression on his face… but he’s a helluva guy and loves helping people…

Anyhow, somehow he found this blog and contacted me… today he’s actually running boot camps out in Dallas Texas… and just like Anthony… is pumped up about all the people he’s helping

I love seeing so many GOOD people gettin’ into the fitness training industry… it’s BY FAR one of the coolest industry’s in the world… and by has some of worlds coolest people in the world working at the heart of it.

Ok, enough about Larry and my new ape hangers… now for the other goodies…
