Last month I was hanging out with Jon Benson at Eben Pagans Guru Mastermind event and I was literally blown away minute to minute by some of the strategies Jon is using… the dude is a total fitness marketing genius.
Within a few minutes of us talking we must have been surrounded by 20 people furiously taking notes on what Jon was saying.
I had to get Jon to do an interview for you here on Kick Back Life.
Definitely listen to what Jon has to say… the dude knows his stuff and released on successful fitness product after another.

Recently I grilled fitness guru Rob P. on how he built his fitness empire Fat Burning Furnace… the dude is making a KILLING online right now and this is an AWESOME audio for trainers looking to make money selling their own info-products (like ebooks, dvd’s, coaching, membership sites and so on)
Seriously, this is one of the best interviews covering the basics of how to break into the fitness info-marketing industry I have ever heard.
Rob tells you how to build your fitness empire from the ground up… just like he did.
It’s my opinion that info-marketing is about the coolest way around to make a buck and help a ton of people… if you’re a personal trainer your workouts might help a few hundred people a year… but if you start packaging your knowledge and selling it in the form of info products you can help tens of thousands of people or even more.
Check out the interview here…

There’s a cool video down this page a bit with some awesome marketing tips to help you grow your fitness business… but first I wanna tell you about the dude with the long hair and tattoo’s in the video with me…
You see… the other day I was hanging out and masterminding with Jason Moffat (the dude with the long hair and tattoos) at his multimillion dollar home overlooking the ocean down in San Diego… Jason has a killer pad… 5 bedrooms with an ocean view and a trail from his back yard that leads straight to the surf ( and he surfs ALL THE TIME)
This picture was taken from his upstairs balcony… and that’s the beautiful Pacific Ocean right behind us…

Jason is one of the most well known, laid back and crazy internet marketers on the planet and any serious fitness marketer should be watching what this dude is doing online
But Jason wasn’t always a marketer… in fact he used to be a dick…

Guest Post by Zach Hunt
This is a guest post by Zach Hunt, Zach makes a KILLING marketing his personal training business online and the dude definitely knows his stuff
I always enjoy looking at my website stats.
Not only does it motivate ya to work harder (assuming your traffic / conversions are going up), but it often provides for some pretty good entertainment. And if you look carefully you can often find some very interesting (and bizarre) facts about people, the searches they do, and what you can do to set your website on on super-turbo-ultra-auto-domination mode. I must warn you there are “flying monkeys” involved, and this may get a bit strange and even a little funky.
Just the other day I was looking at my Google Analytics and WordPress Stats, what I found was a little bit unusual….
Now, it’s obvious that you should rank for keywords like:
But once you’re #1 and such for those keywords, where do you go from there?

Hey there, I got a CRAZY email from a buddy of mine the other day… but before I tell you exactly what it said let me give you a little background…

Friday, February 20th, 2009

If you’ve been following my blog for a while you know that one of my favorite client generating strategies to get websites super-high in the search engines for TONS of different terms related to personal training ( or boot camps… or weight loss… or health clubs… or whatever it is you’re selling)
The other day I was talking to this totally arrogant techie nerd who was trying to sound like the worlds greatest expert on the search engines… kinda weird cuz he was driving a broke down piece of shit… most REAL SEO ( search engine optimization) experts make good money… but maybe he’s a minimalist or something… who knows…
Anyway I kept listing to him… the dude was throwing creepy techie words at me I’d never heard… a total know-it-all… ya know the kind, they try to confuse you and prove you wrong so they look smart and you feel stupid…
I think the dude just needed to get laid, but what do I know, I’m no psychologist…

Hey there, just got back from a nice lil’ product launch back yard get together with 5 or 6 of us at Valerie Waters house in LA.
Valerie’s a celebrity trainer who works with a TON of Hollywood’s biggest names and she just recently has been getting pretty heavy into fitness information product marketing. I first met her in the bar late night at a StomperNet event.
Anyhow, I cruised up to Valeries today with my good buddies Steve Hochman and Bedros Keuilian and Jason Moffatt was there helping Valerie with the launch (Jason is a friggin’ MAD MAN when it comes to launches)

Eight years ago I had just gotten sober off of a buffet of heavy narcotics, negative thinking and bad decisions. The year was 2000, and at the time I didn’t even have the balls to walk into a Target or some other minimum wage job and ask for an application… the thought TOTALLY freaked me out.
My opinion of my self was pretty low, plus my rap sheet didn’t help… kinda hard to walk into a place and say “I’m a convicted felon and I haven’t worked in years but I know I can bring a lot to the table”… trust me, it sucks…
Fast forward just a few years and I own a personal training business that does a high six figures a year, have 15 trainers working for me and the business takes less than an hour a day of my time, A LOT less actually.
On top of that I have more $200 an hour coaching clients than I can handle and an online internet marketing curriculum ( Market Annihilator ) that does extremely well… in fact it sold out in six days.
Funny thing is, I ain’t the brightest cat in the world… yet my businesses continue to grow and thrive, even in what some people would call a temperamental economy.
The key to building my personal training business ( as well as my other businesses) has been advertising on the internet. While it’s true, many types of online advertising don’t work (even though the annoying solicitors who call my business everyday SWEAR that their product or service is the best and gets amazing results… LIARS), there are a few things online that work continue to work for me on a consistent basis… and those few things can make you financially successful very quickly.
